Johnson Screens Unveils the New and Improved 120° DSM Pressure Screen Box!

New Brighton, May 6th, 2025 – Johnson Screens is thrilled to unveil the latest addition to our growing family of industrial filtration and screening solutions, the new and improved 120° DSM Pressure Screen Box!

Johnson Screens 120° DSM Pressure Screen Boxes are used for fine solids separation. The slurry is continuously pressure-fed onto the Vee-Wire DSM screen, where the liquid drains through the slots as the solids slide to the bottom of the DSM screen. DSM pressure screen Boxes are used in static sieves for both dewatering and classification.

As the slurry flows over the inclined screen surface, the perpendicular orientation of the wires to the flow allows solids to be retained while liquid passes through the screen. As such, Johnson Screens 120° DSM Pressure Screen Boxes are ideal for sizing and dewatering applications in liquid/solid separation situations, fine fibre removal in the starch industry, food processing, pulp and paper, wastewater processing, and corn wet milling.
